Lead Teacher
A Teacher at Innovative Kids Early Learning Academy reports to the Center Director and is responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6-Weeks to Pre-School. This role involves planning and delivering engaging activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development while ensuring a nurturing, safe and supportive learning environment. Working conditions include work in a classroom setting within a child care center, involving active engagement with children. May require occasional evening or weekend work for events or meetings. Compensation: min $17.50 - $22.00/hr (plus bonuses) commensurate on education, training and experience. Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter.

Curriculum Development:

Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster learning and development in various developmental domains.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Associate’s degree or 60 college credits with relevant experience will be considered).

Experience in a child care or educational setting preferred.

Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate practices.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
-
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Assistant Teacher
The Assistant Teacher reports to the Center Director and plays a crucial role in supporting the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 6-weeks to Pre-School. This position involves assisting with daily activities, implementing educational programs, and fostering positive relationships with children and families. Working conditions include work in a classroom setting within a child care center, involving active engagement with children. May require occasional evening or weekend work for events or meetings. Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and conducting age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote learning across various developmental areas.

Facilitate small group and individual activities, encouraging exploration and creativity.

Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred (high school diploma with relevant experience may be considered).

TEC 1 and TEC 2 credentials.

Experience working with young children in a child care or educational setting is a plus.

Understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate practices.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
